Both models permit the maximum possible bore through the seal accessory which is latched into the packer. An independent polished bore can be connected on the top of the packer to get a max ID. The hydraulic setting mechanism makes the GQS Packers particularly suitable for use in highly deviated wells. Careful choice of materials for components, which are exposed to the well fluids, enables the packers to be used in a wide range of operating conditions.
The stinger is directly inserted into the packer at running, and the setting and stinger anchoring are completed in one pipe string.
When used as a hanging packer, a separate setting tool can be used to set.
Ratchet lock ring maintains setting load for safe setting under pressure changes.
Stinger and packer are connected by a special thread, which is convenient for the recovery of stinger.
Larger inner diameter and can withstand higher pressures.
Packer bottom thread can be customized.
