Wireline setting tools is used to set bridge pugs, production packer or cement retainers. The force is created by the gradual burning of a high temperature power charge which produces high pressure gas that is contained by an o-ring sealed top piston. The piston applies the necessary stroke and tension to set and release from the equipment.
